Academia Shines at GoalFest 2026 with a Top 4 Finish


GoalFest 2026 brought together some of the most competitive CSIT football teams from colleges across the region, creating an exciting platform for young talent to showcase their skills and passion for the game. Among the many teams that participated, Academia College delivered an impressive performance and proudly secured a Top 4 position in the tournament.

Throughout the competition, the team displayed strong coordination, determination, and sportsmanship. Each match was filled with energy as the players fought hard against tough opponents, proving their capability on the field.

One of the standout performers of the tournament was Nashib Shrestha from CSIT 3rd Semester, who consistently delivered exceptional performances. His remarkable gameplay, sharp decision-making, and ability to influence the outcome of matches earned him the Man of the Match award multiple times. Nashib played a crucial role in guiding Academia through the tournament and was undoubtedly one of the team’s most impactful players.

Another promising talent who caught everyone’s attention was Biraj Karki from CSIT 1st Semester. Despite being relatively new, Biraj demonstrated remarkable confidence, skill, and potential on the field. His performance during the tournament showed that he has the ability to grow into one of the best players for Academia in the coming years.
